• How long will you live?

Twenty-five percent of your longevity is genetic. Seventy-five percent is environmental…..or HOW you live. That according to National Geographic who did a study of longevity world wide, identifying what they called “Blue Zones”—places where there were the highest concentrations of centenarians—that’s people who live beyond 100 years. The three bluest zones were small areas in Sardenia, Okinawa, and in the U.S. Loma Linda, CA. The common characteristics of these people were:

#1. They eat very little meat.

#2. The eat lots of color—meaning their vegetable plate was colorful.

#3. They had exercise naturally in their life.

    #4. They maintained sabbath days.

    #5. They maintained friends

    #6. They didn’t retire.

Hmmm. Pretty interesting. If you’d like to watch the videos just Google “Blue Zones National Geographic.” I think you’ll find them interesting.

Now, based on the six criteria above, how long will you live?
