He\u2019d said to me \u201cI may lose it all, the house, the cars, everything, but regardless I\u2019m all in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-109\" title=\"rock-climber\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jbarrywatts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/rock-climber-172x300.jpg\" alt=\"rock-climber\" width=\"172\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/old.jbarrywatts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/rock-climber-172x300.jpg 172w, https:\/\/old.jbarrywatts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/rock-climber.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 172px) 100vw, 172px\" \/>All in. As in, \u201cCommitted.\u201d As in, \u201cAin\u2019t no turnin\u2019 back.\u201d As in, \u201cRun those ships up on the beach and burn them, we\u2019re not sailing back to Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m reminded that Columbus would have never discovered the new world if he could have gotten off the ship in the middle of the storms. Like it or not, he was \u201call in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>How \u201call in\u201d are you? Are you committed, or just contributing? You\u2019ve heard that old joke about the chicken and the pig discussing the farmer\u2019s breakfast of ham and eggs haven\u2019t you? For the chicken it was just a contribution, but for the pig it was a commitment.<\/p>\n<p>As you analyze your performance in life, is it what you want it to be. Do you only having a toe in the water or are you fully immersed? Are you committed, or are you just pretending?<\/p>\n<p>What fear keeps you from being all in?<\/p>\n<p>Where do you want to be a year from now? Can you get there with your present level of commitment?<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward a year with my business owner friend. He told me this week how grateful he was for all that was going on in his life. His personal income had grown to almost six figures\u2026\u2026..A MONTH!&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..he\u2019d paid off all his personal debt and had several months of living expenses in the bank in CASH. He said \u201cYou know, I\u2019m not a quitter.
